Our Vision
Nothing inside our body is wholly independent. Everything connects to something. You remember the song; the foot bone's connected to the...everything!
Sometimes the problem really is point-specific, as with an injury. But even in that case a medical health practitioner needs to hypothesize as to why the injury took place in the way that it did; what lead to those specific tissues in that specific range being challenged enough that when put under pressure they couldn't adapt? What were they already dealing with?
Much more so in the case of pain or inhibition with a more elusive or chronic cause, we tend to find the best results come from addressing fundamental issues at the core of the body and working our way back out to the problem. We find the health, what is stable, and then ask what that health is budding up against. An ideal treatment would result in the perceived problem or symptoms mostly abating by the time the practitioner even reaches them. If a patient realizes their problem is resolving during treatment, gives us wide eyes and says, "But you didn't even touch my [symptomatic area].", we're happy health workers.
We are sympathetic. We are understanding. We care. We are going to do our very best to help you within the confines of our scope of practice. The best thing we can do for you is to focus on maintaining/restoring balance and symmetry on a large scale within the body and work off of the most solid foundation we can help you achieve. When something is swollen, hot, irritated and red, there is only so much that can be done for that area in the moment. Trying to understand why that is happening absolutely must be our first goal; not only for faster results, but for you to get back to your busy life of playing with the dog, picking up your kids, and helping your neighbour shovel that dreadful driveway. As inconvenient as it may feel while you're suffering, we promise there's a method to our madness. Plus, you'll learn so much about your own body! What we find might surprise you. In fact, it very likely will. That's good! Discovery is our favourite part!
We want to help you heal. Let us try!

Meet Our Team

Darya Zuychenko is a Registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Registered Acupuncturist, Registered Massage Therapist, and Reiki Master, working in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She is a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Osteopaths (NSAO), the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO), the Massage Therapist’s Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS) and the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia (ATCMANS).
Darya has been practicing massage therapy since 2014. Upon graduation from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), she was the recipient of the annual award from the Massage Therapist’s and Wholistic Practitioner’s Association of the Maritimes for displaying a practice based on an all encompassing wholistic approach for the care and treatment of her patients. Several months prior to her graduation, she completed her extra studies and became a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui style of Reiki, incorporating the therapy into her practice, aiming to balance and connect deeply rooted energetic disorders with their physical counterparts.
During her time at CCMH, Darya was becoming more interested in the treatment of internal conditions, which led to her application and acceptance to the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to advance her studies in acupuncture. In 2016, Darya graduated as an acupuncturist from CCATCM, and began treating with these modalities. She loves working in a tight-knit health community, and with prolonged exposure and success with local osteopaths, she decided to enrol into the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques to continue her education to become an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.
In the few rare moments that Darya is not studying, she spends a great deal of time training with the aerialist dance and circus communities, building strength and focus through fitness and flexibility. Darya believes that everything is connected, both in life and body, and with her gentle and careful approach, she is thrilled to help you alter your current dysfunctions to inspire a beautiful, healthy future.
Please note, as a member of the NSAO, she is not an Osteopathic Physician, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO, formerly Doctor of Osteopathy), nor does she practice Osteopathic Medicine. In Nova Scotia, Osteopathic Manual Practice is not regulated by the government, however the NSAO is actively seeking government regulation to protect the public and our profession. Osteopathic Manual Practitioners are not members of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).

Ryan Moult is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate (RCT-C), working in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He is a member of the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Ryan has been practicing counselling since 2022. Ryan completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in 2022, and his practicum placement was completed while at Amy Mackenzie Counselling and Art Therapy Services in Halifax. Ryan uses a combination of approaches to mental health, depending on individual client needs, but mainly approaches mental health from a person-centered and an acceptance and commitment therapy model (ACT). Ryan also believes in a holistic approach to mental health, and as such values the benefits of good nutrition, exercise, socializing, and others.
In addition to helping clients with anxiety and depression, Ryan often also helps clients learn to set boundaries, have healthier communication, realize their locus of control, and manage difficult thoughts and emotions. A calm and gentle man, Ryan loves to listen and wants to help clients grow and celebrate their accomplishments. While not practicing counselling, he enjoys caring for plants, spending time in nature, playing video games, and writing his novel about pirates.
Whether mental health problems are new to you or something you know quite well, they can
be difficult to manage on your own. However, if you are willing to reach out for help, you won't
be alone. Ryan will work through things with you, together.

Hello! I'm Holly Sher. I'm so glad you're here.
I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. I'm an Ontario native who now lives in beautiful Nova Scotia with my husband, 2 cats, and horse. I am lucky enough to hold licenses for, and work in both provinces virtually.
I LOVE what I do. There is no work more humbling than walking beside someone on their healing journey. I am truly honoured to be able to do this work.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and intuitive. Mindful awareness is at the centre of it all. I aim to deliver therapy that incorporates the body’s nervous system, for without that, we are missing so much.
I take an attachment-oriented approach, because our early experiences offer important clues as to where we find ourselves now. I offer an ideal combination of practical and easy to use tools to manage distress, and delving into the root causes of my clients' difficulties. I am not one to take a simple 'band-aid' approach in my work. Each client is treated individually, and most importantly, each client is the expert on themselves.
I am registered with both the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT). Additionally, I hold memberships with both the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association (EMDRIA) and EMDR Canada.
